AI Assistant Usage Costs

AI credits are separate from ECU unlock credits. Convert Tuning Credits in the assistant's Buy panel. At the current default settings:

1 Tuning Credit converts to 100 AI credits
1 AI Credit represents US$0.001 of AI model usage

There is no fixed cost per message: credits are deducted from actual model usage, so longer conversations, map context, and higher reasoning effort can use more. These default rates are configurable and may change; your current balance and the live conversion rate are shown in the assistant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do tuning credits expire?

Never. Once added to your account balance, they remain available indefinitely until you use them to unlock an ECU.

How fast are credits added after payment?

Instantly. As soon as Stripe confirms your checkout, your balance should be updated in seconds.

Is payment card info secure?

All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. WebTunerPro never stores or handles your full credit card details.
