Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the WebTunerPro platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. WebTunerPro is operated as a sole trader based in Ireland.

2. Description of Service

WebTunerPro provides a browser-based ECU calibration platform that allows users to upload, view, edit, and save ECU binary files and associated map data. Features including automated map detection, 3D visualisation, and analytics tools are provided on a credit basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or restrictions.

4. Tuning Credits

Access to certain features requires Tuning Credits purchased through the platform.

• Credits are purchased in advance and deducted when used to unlock ECU map families or access credit-gated features.
• Credits are non-refundable once spent. Because credits are consumed upon use of a digital service, refunds cannot be issued for credits that have been used, regardless of the outcome of the tuning session.
• Unused credits do not expire and remain on your account indefinitely while your account is active.
• Attempting to obtain a refund for credits after consuming them — including through a payment dispute — constitutes misuse of the service and may result in account suspension.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the platform's source code or proprietary map detection algorithms.
• Upload files containing malicious code or content designed to disrupt the service.
• Abuse the contact or support system with spam or frivolous requests.
• Resell or redistribute access to the platform or its outputs without prior written consent.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any modifications made to ECU files comply with applicable road traffic legislation, emissions regulations, and vehicle type approval rules in your jurisdiction. WebTunerPro provides tools only and does not endorse or take responsibility for any use of calibrated files on public roads.

6. Your Content & Uploaded Files

You retain full ownership of any ECU binary files and project data you upload to the platform. By uploading files, you grant WebTunerPro a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and process your files solely for the following purposes:

• Delivering the service to you (map detection, visualisation, saving).
• Providing technical support when you request assistance.
• Improving the platform's map detection capabilities (e.g. identifying new map signatures from anonymised patterns).

We will not share your raw files with third parties. Any analysis used for platform improvement is handled internally and does not expose your data externally.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design, map detection algorithms, map definitions, and associated materials are the intellectual property of WebTunerPro. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights in the platform to you.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. WebTunerPro does not guarantee that:

• Map detection will be accurate for all ECU variants.
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Any calibration output will produce safe or desired results.

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish and EU law, WebTunerPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damage to vehicle hardware or loss of data. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the value of credits purchased by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the credit system. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@webtunerpro.com.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws which these terms do not override.
