1. Who We Are

WebTunerPro is an online ECU calibration platform operated as a sole trader based in Ireland. For all data-related queries, contact us at support@webtunerpro.com. WebTunerPro is the data controller for all personal data collected through this website.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Email address and password (hashed) when you register.
• Project data: ECU binary files and map data you upload and save.
• Payment data: Billing details processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
• Support data: Name, email, subject and message when you submit a contact form.
• Usage data: Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.

3. Lawful Basis (GDPR Article 6)

• Contract: Account and project data are processed to deliver the service you signed up for.
• Legal obligation: Payment records are retained for tax and accounting purposes.
• Legitimate interests: Server logs are retained for security monitoring.
• Consent: Contact form data is processed based on your voluntary submission.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

• Supabase (EU region): Hosts our database and user authentication.
• Stripe: Processes all payments. Subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.
• Resend: Used to deliver automated transactional emails to users (e.g. account verification) and to forward contact form submissions to our support inbox.
• Railway: Hosts our backend server infrastructure. User data passes through Railway servers when using the service.
• Vercel: Hosts our frontend. May log visitor IP addresses and request metadata for performance and security purposes.
• Zoho Mail: Used by our support team to read and respond to user enquiries received via the contact form.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

• Account and project data: retained for as long as your account is active.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Irish tax law.
• Contact messages: retained for 12 months then deleted.
• Server logs: retained for 30 days.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject you have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification of inaccurate data.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") where no legal obligation requires retention.
• Portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies required for authentication (Supabase session tokens). No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

8. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to the database is restricted to authorised server processes only.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
